Hurricane Recovery and Rebuild Workshop
Build back, better! The Charlotte County Attorney’s Office hosted a hurricane recovery and rebuild workshop. The workshop features the County Building Official representatives; local attorneys regarding landlord/tenant issues, construction, and insurance laws; in addition to representatives from the Small Business Administration, Small Business Development Center, and Florida Rural Legal Services.

Economic Injury Loans for Working Capital Needs
Low interest direct loans to small businesses and most private nonprofit
organizations. Economic Injury Disaster Loans help meet working capital needs
caused by the disaster. Economic Injury Disaster Loan assistance is available
regardless of whether the business suffered any physical damage.

FloridaDisaster.biz is a partnership between the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) and the Florida Division of Emergency Management (DEM).

Evacuation Zones are not based solely on the elevation of your residence. The Zones are determined using data provided by the National Hurricane Center, elevation, and evacuation routes. Storm surge does no correlate with the category of the storm.
