Making way for something new – Promenades by Parkside prepares to demolish entry building for new walkable entry

PORT CHARLOTTE — Promenades at Parkside is knocking down walls to make something new.
Rather than have a “groundbreaking” ceremony for the mall’s new entrance, owner Jeff Morr held a “wrecking celebration” at the site Friday, in coordination with Charlotte County’s Economic Development Office.
The demolition will make way for a new walkable entry to the mall, where there is currently “empty space” between Fantastic Sam’s and Le Nails.
