Business Retention and Expansion
Helping Existing Businesses Thrive in Southwest Florida
Charlotte County isn’t just focused on recruiting new companies—we’re equally invested in strengthening the businesses that already call this community home. With over 13,000 businesses operating locally, our economic development strategy prioritizes Business Retention & Expansion (BRE) as a key driver of sustainable growth.
We understand that thriving local businesses create jobs, support families, and contribute to a resilient, diversified economy. That’s why our BRE approach is rooted in active listening.
