Charlotte County Economic Development Office Staff

Director
EDO Director Dave Gammon has many responsibilities: Working with major developers considering Charlotte County as an investment site; serving as a liaison and advisor to County government; spearheading the EDO’s mission of attracting new business to broaden the tax base. But Dave’s favorite part of the job is looking past what is to what can be and making it happen. A good example is Charlotte County’s vital new aviation cluster, catalyzed by the new A&P Aviation Mechanic Training program at Charlotte Technical College, initiated by the EDO which requested and received almost $2 million to create the program. With a dynamic team behind him, Dave leads the EDO with confidence.
