Charlotte County Businesses Recognized in 2026 Distinguished Entrepreneur Awards

Six local businesses and leaders have earned regional recognition through nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Entrepreneur Awards hosted by the Florida SBDC at FGCU.

These nominations reflect the strength and diversity of Charlotte County’s economy, highlighting entrepreneurs and business leaders who are driving growth, supporting workforce development, and contributing to the region’s long-term success.

From established industry leaders to emerging entrepreneurs, each nominee represents a different segment of the local economy, demonstrating the depth of opportunity and innovation taking place across the county.

Kevin Graham — Suncoast One Title & Closings

Kevin Graham, owner of Suncoast One Title & Closings, has built a long-standing presence in Charlotte County’s real estate and business community. Through his work, he supports residential and commercial transactions that enable investment, development, and business expansion throughout the region.

In addition to his business leadership, Graham has played an active role in the community.  He served as President of the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce and participates in local boards and committees. His career reflects a consistent commitment to both professional excellence and community involvement.

Casey Kennedy — Bloom Academy

Casey Kennedy, owner of Bloom Academy, is helping support Charlotte County’s workforce through early education and childcare services. Her business provides reliable care for families, allowing parents and guardians to remain active in the workforce.  They do this while ensuring children receive quality early development.

Cole Kelly — Punta Gorda Adventures
