FSW and Cap Table Nation Hosts Open Mic Pitch Practice Events
APRIL 30, 2025 – FORT MYERS, FLA – Florida SouthWestern State College’s (FSW) Daveler Institute of Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with Cap Table Nation, will host a series of Open Mic Pitch Practice events at all FSW locations.
This interactive event is open to aspiring entrepreneurs, high school and college students, and community members who are ready to pitch their business ideas, gain constructive feedback, and build valuable connections within the region’s growing entrepreneurial network. Designed to foster creativity and connection, the evening will offer opportunities for participants to showcase their ideas, sharpen their presentation skills, and engage with local investors and innovators.
Open Mic Pitch Practice Event Schedules
- Thursday, May 8, 6-8 p.m., at the FSW Lee Campus Rush Auditorium, Bldg., J, 8099 College Parkway, Fort Myers
- Thursday, May 29, 6-8 p.m., at the FSW Collier Campus, 7505 Grand Lely Dr., Naples

Thursday, June 19, 6-8 p.m., at the FSW Charlotte Campus, 26300 Airport Rd., Punta Gorda
- Thursday, July 10, 6-8 p.m., at the FSW Hendry/Glades Curtis Center 1092 E. Cowboy Way, LaBelle
Participants will benefit from practicing real-world pitching in a welcoming environment, receiving insights and feedback from experienced professionals from organizations including Francis Ann Capital and Espresso Coaching and networking with IMAG Executive Director Matthew Johnson, Collaboratory Philanthropy Officer Joe Braun, and other members of Cap Table Nation.
