40 Under 40
This initiative seeks to recognize and celebrate outstanding young professionals who are making significant contributions to Charlotte County. To ensure a fair and impactful selection process, the following criteria will be used to evaluate nominees:
Eligibility
- Age: Nominees must be 44 years old or younger as of the nomination deadline.
- Residency: Nominees must work in Charlotte County, FL (extra points if they graduated High School in Charlotte County)
- Professional Achievement: Must demonstrate significant professional accomplishments or career advancements in their field.
Impact
- Community Engagement: Nominees should be actively involved in initiatives that contribute positively to the Charlotte County community.
- Innovation: Demonstrates creativity and forward-thinking approaches in their work or community involvement.
- Leadership: Must have shown leadership in their field or community, inspiring and motivating others.
Range of Impact
- Industry Representation: Open to professionals from all sectors, including business, education, healthcare, arts, technology, public service, and more.
- Scope of Influence: Candidates will be assessed on the breadth and depth of their contributions—locally, regionally, or beyond.
Character and Values
- Integrity: Upholds high ethical standards and demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility.
- Collaboration: Values teamwork and has a proven record of working well with others to achieve impactful results.
Submission Requirements
- Nomination Form: Complete the official nomination form, including detailed descriptions of the nominee’s qualifications and achievements.
- Supporting Documents: Submit at least one of the following:
- Letter of recommendation.
- Resume or professional bio.
- Articles, awards, or recognitions related to their work.
- Optional Media: Photos, videos, or project portfolios showcasing their achievements.
Selection Process
- Judging will be based on the outlined criteria to ensure objectivity.
