Fishermen’s Village Sale Opens a New Chapter

One of Punta Gorda’s best-known waterfront destinations, Fishermen’s Village, has new owners.

The Business Observer reports that the real estate was purchased for $43 million by Punta Gorda-based Harborview Capital Group and Miami-based Torose Equities.

The sale comes as Charlotte County continues to grow and commercial investment responds to the changing needs of the community. Recent growth forecasts presented to Charlotte County commissioners have highlighted opportunities for additional commercial and industrial development throughout the county.
