Allegiant Earns Top Honors in USA TODAY Readers’ Choice Awards
August 11th, 2026

Allegiant is once again earning national recognition for the value it provides travelers.
The airline recently secured the No. 1 spot for both Best Airline Credit Card and Best Frequent Flyer Program in USA TODAY’s 10Best 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards. This recognition marks the third consecutive year Allegiant has won both categories.
Allegiant’s Allways Rewards Visa® was named Best Airline Credit Card for the eighth consecutive year. This continues a long-running streak of recognition from travelers. Card benefits include priority check-in and boarding. In addition, cardholders get a complimentary premium beverage when flying, no blackout dates and opportunities to access exclusive experiences.
The airline’s Allways Rewards® frequent flyer program also earned the top ranking for the fourth time. The free loyalty program was designed specifically with leisure travelers in mind. It allows members to earn rewards and redeem points with flexibility.
“We’re honored to be recognized again by USA TODAY readers for our credit card and frequent flyer programs as it reflects our commitment to providing meaningful value for our passengers,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s chief commercial officer.
The awards are determined through public voting. Nominees are selected by a panel of experts and USA TODAY 10Best editors.
For Southwest Florida travelers, Allegiant’s continued national recognition is another positive sign from an airline that plays an important role in connecting communities and making leisure travel more accessible.
As Allegiant celebrates the 10th anniversary of its loyalty program, the company says it plans to continue expanding benefits and creating additional value for its customers.
