Completed an executive briefing review, including weekend carryover items, media monitoring, TrueScope reports, Semrush alerts, LeadLander follow-up, and key items requiring action. Continued advancing the broader Careers on the Coast workforce attraction hub by reviewing how to better connect related programs and partner resources, including: CDBIA Next Gen Executive & Family Relocation Support Employer pathways Workforce attraction resources Career exploration resources Developed positioning for adding CDBIA Next Gen to Careers on the Coast as an industry partner pathway connecting students, young professionals, and construction-related careers. Reviewed and shaped the Executive & Family Relocation Support concept as part of Careers on the Coast, with emphasis on soft-landing support for executives, spouses, families, schools, housing, and community integration. Reworked the direction for the monthly Economic Development newsletter to move away from a basic monthly recap and toward a more compelling, feature-driven structure with stronger open-rate potential, including: Hero story “What We’re Watching” Business spotlight Economic development explainer Opportunities to engage Developed SEO fields and page positioning for an employer-focused workforce article/page, including focus keyphrase, SEO title, meta description, slug, excerpt, and tags tied to workforce development, talent pipeline, employer resources, and Careers on the Coast. Researched and organized potential business success story candidates for Kay and Mark to review, especially since the Hydro-E-Lectric story has stalled. Prepared messaging explaining the purpose of the business success story candidate list and why a new featured business should be selected. Developed creative direction for a Careers on the Coast blog hero image for the theme “Students Cannot Pursue Careers They Never See,” focused on employer connections, career exploration, work-based learning, skills training, and classroom-to-career pathways.

When businesses talk about workforce challenges, the conversation often starts with recruiting.

  • How do we fill open positions faster?

Employers can reduce barriers
