Englewood - Cape Haze Peninsula


The Englewood – Cape Haze Peninsula rests on the waters of Lemon Bay and the Myakka River, which is part of the Charlotte Harbor Estuary System, and its barrier islands border the Gulf of Mexico. Englewood is unincorporated and the area stretches from the boundaries of South Venice and North Port in South Sarasota County to the Myakka River in Charlotte County.  Englewood is comprised of five main neighborhoods; Placida, Rotonda West, Gulf Cove, Englewood Beach and Grove City, with a total area population of over 58,000 residents.

The Englewood area has the unique distinction that comes with living and working where most people want to vacation!
