Phase 2

Governor DeSantis has announced that Phase 2 will begin in most of Florida on Friday, June 5th, 2020. Please see Executive Order 20-139 for details on Phase 2. You can read more about the statewide recovery plan HERE.

On Friday, March 27, 2020, the President signed into law the CARES Act, which contains $376 billion in relief for American workers and small businesses. Families First Coronavirus Response Act

This new law takes effect April 2, 2020. It requires employers with up to 500 employees to provide paid sick leave and paid family leave while also providing a refundable payroll tax credit to employers to cover 100% of the cost of wages.
